Rewild Somatics

About Us

Creative and Therapeutic Practices

ABOUT

Rewild Somatics is a space for somatic practice that supports reconnection with the body, presence, and the natural intelligence we all hold within.

Through somatic movement, sensory exploration, improvisation and grounding practices, we create an environment where the body can breathe, release, and return to a more natural and authentic rhythm.

Our approach is rooted in somatics, nervous-system regulation, mindfulness, body–mind practices and connection with nature. The aim is not perfect movement, but a return to sensing, awareness and each person’s unique embodied experience.

In every class and workshop, Rewild Somatics cultivates safety, inclusivity and choice — practices that help the body regulate, express and move with greater freedom.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

I am a mover , a Somatic Movement Educator in training and theater teacher.

I have over 10 years of experience facilitating groups of children, teenagers and adults, with a focus on body awareness, movement, and expression. My background began with theater studies and physical theater training, which laid the foundation for my ongoing exploration of embodied expression.
I further deepened my understanding of the body through Primitive Expression, Rhythm Therapy, and Dance Movement Therapy, attending numerous seminars and engaging theoretical study.
I am a certificated Danceability teacher and i am deepening my work and embodied understanding by completing the Body-Mind Centering® education with istos Greece.
I also trained as a Forest School Leader through Inside-Out Nature, a Danish Nature & Forest School training organization. The training focused on outdoor education, nature pedagogy, and the Danish approach to learning in nature which I explored through a study tour.
Currently, I am completing my training as a Shinrin-Yoku (forest bathing) Guide, learning about nature-based wellbeing and ecological connection.
My approach to movement emerges from the intersection of somatic practice, performance theory, inclusive dance and ecological awareness.
Through Body-Mind Centering, I explore movement as an internal, sensory process shaped by anatomy, perception and imagination. My theatre studies have influenced the way I think dramaturgically about movement — not only as form, but as an event that unfolds in relation to space, context and others. As a Danceability teacher, I work with mixed-ability groups and continuously question normative ideas of technique, virtuosity and who is allowed to move and be visible within dance spaces.

For the past few years , my research has centred on an ecosomatic practice I developed, called Rewild Practice, focusing on inclusion, consent and the development of creativity and how the nervous system and movement interact with nature. It is not a therapeutic practice but an open research of self discovery and pleasure. it is a critical, eco-somatic field practice examining how bodies, nervous systems and landscapes are shaped by power, access and history and a research for ways to take them back.
A central question guiding my current research is: which bodies are included in our dances ? My engagement with ecosomatic practices and Shinrin-yoku has expanded this question beyond the human body, inviting me to consider movement as an exchange between bodies, landscapes and ecological systems. I am interested in how attention, slowness and listening can reshape our relationship to both performance and environment.
